SMS Consent & Opt-In Policy

These terms apply to text messages (SMS and MMS) sent by Windsor Management Corporation (“Windsor,” “we,” “us”), a commercial property management company based in Lafayette, California.

Program description

Windsor sends and receives text messages with the tenants, property owners, and vendors of the properties we manage. Messages are operational: maintenance and work order updates, service scheduling, rent and billing reminders, property notices, emergency and safety alerts, and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you Opt-In

You agree to receive text messages from Windsor when you:

Text one of our phone numbers first. You consent to replies in that conversation.
Give your mobile number to a Windsor team member by phone, email, in person, or on a lease, onboarding, tenant contact, or vendor setup form, and agree to receive text messages about your property or account.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of leasing, purchasing, or doing business with Windsor.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on property activity and tenant interactions. Tenants can expect to receive messages only when there is relevant, actionable information related to their tenancy.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Windsor does not charge for text messages.

How to Opt Out

Tenants can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

Replying STOP to any message received from Windsor Management. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. We will send one message confirming you have opted out and will not text you again unless you opt back in. To opt back in, reply START.
Contact their property management team directly.
Updating their communication preferences in the tenant portal.

Once a tenant opts out, no further SMS messages will be sent unless the tenant re-subscribes.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our text messages.
